Why should you support the PTA?
How much of a time commitment is this?
Membership in PTA can involve as much or as little time as you have to offer. There is no right or wrong way to be involved - anything you can give, whether it's time or money, will support your child's potential.

The only thing required of you to be a member of the PTA is to pay the annual membership dues. Beyond that, however you choose to PTA is up to you. PTA offers all parents and caregivers the opportunity to be engaged in their child's potential. There is no wrong way to PTA!
Who can join the PTA?
PTA is for every family who has a child at Moreland. PTA is for moms, dads, caregivers, grandparents, teachers and the broader community! Membership is $7 per year. You do NOT need to be a member to volunteer!

While some of the work done by PTA may appear purely social, including family events that are organized to strengthen the school community - much of PTA's work focuses on funding essential school resources and curriculum needs, as well as advocating at the local, state and national levels, impacting decisions affecting your child's health, safety and quality of education.
We encourage every family in the school to become a PTA member to support the success of their child. We want a diverse membership that reflects all of the families and needs of students at the school.

We are always looking for parents volunteers and welcome everyone to our meetings, which are held the second Tuesday of every month from 6 to 7 p.m. in the school library. Free childcare provided for children 3 years and older. Click here to send us a message or email us at morelandpta@yahoo.com.

You can make a donation directly to the PTA using the PayPal link below. 100% of the funds donated go directly to the school.
The Moreland PTA enables parents and teachers to work together to support Moreland's theme of an arts-infused curriculum supported by effective practices in health and fitness, which helps energize students while giving them tools for lifelong learning.

The PTA drives fundraising for fun and enriching activities for our students. We also provide our teachers and staff with tools and resources they may not otherwise have.
